I strongly disagree with Rex on this one...it was ridiculously easy, but then again it was a Tuesday! I guess this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am OLD!
No, I'm with you - "Easy-Medium" at most! Lately I think Rex has been misjudging difficulty more often, for whatever reason... maybe underestimating his own skill?
Yeah, it's interesting to observe his comments after I've done a puzzle. I'm also often taken with his estimates of Saturday puzzles, which are almost invariably challenging (at least to me!) But I've never seen a Monday or Tuesday that I thought was challenging at this point in my "career."
I'm an idiot. Didn't even know you had this non-blog going. Agreed that today was super easy and I'm not even that good at crosswords. Loved seeing DUFFYS TAVERN in the grid, even though it's only a program I read about in Abe Burrows' autobiography. Your solving times are freakish (um...like you didn't know that already).

Remember that Rex is talking about relative difficulty, so "easy for Saturday" doesn't mean "easy"...
