Jeanie, I get the Jonesin' puzzle, via a weekly email from Matt Gaffney. The email comes on Mondays, which is why Dan puts it on the spreadsheet for that day. The attachment file name for this week was jn585.puz. There's a google group you can join to get on the list: https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/jonesin-crosswords
Thank you. I joined the group. But Jones is on the spreadsheet for Tuesday...? I will delete my time since it appears to be a different puzzle. I tried the AR puzzle for the first time. I like it!
Hi Jeanie, you're right, my mistake. Jonesin email comes out on Monday, and is on Dan's Tuesday spreadsheet. The Ben Tausig email with his weekly puzzle, plus the Onion puzzle, comes out on Tuesday, and those are on Dan's Wednesday spreadsheet. I was mistaken in saying that the Jones was on the Monday spreadsheet.
Thank you. And those Tausig ones are on the Crossword Fiend site too, right? (I hope I haven't been posting times from puzzles other than the ones you guys are doing!) :-P
Thanks, guys. I think my rule of thumb was that if it isn't available to solve in the morning, save it for the next day's listing. See also Fireball - email on Wednesday, spreadsheet on Thursday. But if my readership prefers the other way, I'm not picky!
Joon, thanks for the link to Erik's puzzle; I wouldn't have known about it otherwise. I'm not sure why you called it a themeless though; at the very least, 35A is a theme entry.

I assumed the Jones puzzle is the one that says "Mondays" on the Crossword Fiend site, and 816 in the file name...?

tough themeless!
I believe I had a PR with today's Newsday. Nowhere near the PRs I see here usually, but still not too bad ;)
