had OVa crossing DaLBY in the jonesin'. i thought about DOLBY but OVa seemed more likely than OVO for the cirque du soleil show, and DaLBY is also a name. not my favorite crossing.

Generational thing I suppose. I owned that Thomas Dolby album, so that one wasn't a problem. I couldn't remember which agent letter Tommy Lee Jones was, though, and had never heard of the Suburgatory actor, so that square was a total guess, fortunately I got it right.

Oops, I guess hitting the back button after posting is a bad idea, sorry for the dup.

Whenever that happens, I just delete one, so no worries!

I think DOLBY should be pretty inferable, but TUDYK crossing a random letter is even less ideal...

alan TUDYK was great in firefly. i also saw him on broadway in spamalot, where he was ... less great. it is not a very guessable name, but wasn't ALAN clued as tudyk in yesterday's BEQ themeless?

I fell way behind on puzzles, but better late than never. Just wanted to mention that i've been a fan of Alan Tudyk since I saw Firefly and I was surprised to see his name show up twice in one week after being completely absent from puzzles for so many years.

In addition to the credits that Joon mentioned, he had a top-billed role in I,Robot (although no one recognized him cause he played the robot). He also had a brief apperance in Arrested Development, playing the father of...that girl...what's her name...Egg?
