I'm solving on a computer for the first time and I want to be faster. How did you guys do it? Thanks.

Hi Jeanie!
Simple answer - practice. It will take hundreds of puzzles for you to feel fully comfortable solving in Across Lite (or another computer program). It's not easy to learn how to use the arrow keys, Enter, Tab, etc. to move around the way you like. I think most people eventually find that computer solving is faster than pencil/paper, but there is a big learning curve if you're just starting.

Hi, Dan. Thanks. I will practice, and I'll wait to buy a subscription to the Times puzzle til I'm a little faster. :-)
