It was on the harder side for a sunday NYT, but I didn't have too much trouble with it. The acrostic, on the other hand, was a killer; I was very close to a DNF.
i am very late, but i found neither the acrostic nor the NYT crossword out of the ordinary in terms of difficulty. both maybe slightly harder than average, but well within 1 standard deviation.
Sheesh, I guess I was just having a bad day, but I thought that was the hardest Sunday NYT in a long time.

ReplyDeleteReally tough to get traction, but once I got a hold of the theme (or at least had a vague idea of it), it was smoother sailing.
