Sorry! :) I solved on paper because I was already printing up and solving the Napa puzzles - next week's NYT Mon, Tue, Thu.
Crashed and burned in the NW. I misunderstood the theme, thinking it was a rebus, so I was stuck at 1A and 1D for a while.
