couldn't really get the last two letters of the acrostic after about 3 minutes; down to AFTER THE FO_ and FEVER_EW in the clues and _LE_ED in the quote. i'm guessing i spent about 8 minutes on the rest of the puzzle, and then 4 minutes on those two letters before giving up. if i'd tried running the alphabet in both places, i bet i would have succeeded but i got stuck on AFTER THE FOG.
Joon, I had the same problem, compounded by my initial confidence in feverDew as well as After the Fog. Running the alphabet worked for me though; luckily there aren't many words with the pattern _LE_ED
Dan, I've never seen the ipad crossword app. Do you think it's faster or slower than solving on paper?
