Error at 22A/14D on the Hook. That was one ugly crossing! 61D was rough, too, but I managed to get that one.

Yeah. Second week in a row I had a DNF on the BG. WTF crossings a-go-go.

Jesus H.H. Christ! I had five blank squares when I had to start guessing: first two of 22A, first two of 90D, last of 61D. Let's see... two squares wrong: same as Al's (I guessed V) and square 90 (guessed D after at least one trip through the alphabet).

I went with C for the 22A/14D black hole. OCA is another ancient crosswordese answer for "wood sorrel", and that fooled me into going with OCALIS, although in retrospect I think I've seen OXALIS before, but still, ugh. I remember Subaru Justys, so that square wasn't as bad for me, but it's been a long time since Subaru made those.

Yeah, I didn't think the C would work as well going the other way.

It was funny trying to figure out the first letter of -USTY. No word has a good enough connotation that it could be used as a brand name: dusty, fusty, lusty, musty, rusty... Though actually, busty is a 'positive' word. Right guys?

Had same issues as everyone else. Guessed wrong. Was tempted to go with BUSTY

Same issues as everyone. For such a simple theme, you'd think these crossings could be avoided.

Same issues. Got 61D without much trouble (comparably), but I also had Cazoo instead of Bazoo; neither one made sense, but I had filled in the C earlier 'cause I thought the answer to 33d would be sidecar.

i somehow survived the BG deathtraps, but nobody else had a mistake at DELU_A crossing _ALE in the puzzler? totally blind crossing for me.

Didn't know that particular DELUCA but, as a Velvet Underground fan, John CALE was a gimme for me.
