NYT 4:06 ... LAT 3:01 ... CS 1:52 ... ND 2:20 ... CHE 2:52 ... BEQ (p) 7:14 ... WSJ 4:30 ... MGWC 3:43

I had errors in the CS LAT, CHE, and WSJ - one could have been avoided by checking crossings, one was a typo. Mr. Happy Pencil came out for the NYT, but I had to solve each corner separately before the middle would fill in.

In other words, you're like, awful at crossword puzzles now? Joon, here's your chance!

Apparently! I don't often screw up 3 puzzles in a row.

i did all the puzzles today on paper (save the NYT), because of brendan's marching bands and amy's advice about the CHE, and then i was already in a paper mood. good to get practice again, i guess. so i have no idea if i have any errors. i didn't think i had any rough crossings, but careless mistakes are certainly possible.

what were the errors, dan?

Don't remember the typo in WSJ... guess it was LAT, not CS, that I had ADLAI hosting Nixon instead of ENLAI, leaving a bad crossing when I left the corner... the real mistake was in CHE, where AIR is a better answer for [Promote] than AID, and RETOURIST seemed like a logical theme answer. Didn't see it until I actually figured out how the theme was supposed to work.
