today's newsday was my fastest solve ever, by a good 12 seconds. i thought you might approach 1:00. instead, it appears i am approaching you! you better get that ACPT post done quick. :P
i did beat 6:36 on the BEQ, but i had some different clues. actually i suggested several of the clues you solved.
I had some fumble-fingers in the Newsday - started out at 1:15 pace but couldn't keep it up! BEQ totally stymied me in the SW until I remembered EMMENTHALER (which is how I've seen it spelled)...
