Fireball subscribers -- okay, that's everyone besides the spambots -- I've learned that Roger DePont is constructing his annual Oscar-nominations puzzle on Tuesday, and it'll be supersized becaue of the expanded field this year. (What happens if Up gets a nod?) So we get two Fireball crosswords this week!

maybe there will be an UP rebus square. it'll look like an unchecked letter, but there would be a clue for the 1-"letter" answer...

yesterday's newsday was my fastest-ever paper solve, too (2:13).
