Granted the Newsday was an easy one, but your applet times are approaching the event horizon. Careful, because if you break one minute you might open up a wormhole and end up in some parallel universe where USA Today has the only puzzle in existence, or something like that. :)
(I do the Newsday on paper, since it's syndicated locally).

Those aren't applet times - Alex's PuzzleButler brings me Newsday in Across Lite, so navigating is easy. I don't think it's possible to get much faster on those easy ones, but now you've got me scared to try... :)

i set newsday paper records both monday and tuesday of this week (2:20something both days). i did not, however, threaten the fabric of causal reality. i adhere strictly to the laws of physics whenever possible.

Dan: ND in AcrossLite, ah, nice. I have the app, but haven't had the chance to give it a go.

Joon: Studies show that reaching 2:20-something on paper may actually cause fluctuations in the space-time continuum, excessive creation of Higgs bosons, occassional drowsiness, and Detroit Lions fandom. Symptoms may vary, so take care.
