I decided to try speed paper-solving for the first time in nearly a year. Man, am I out of practice. Seemed that, with all my inept scanning for specific clues, they just as well may not have been listed in numerical order.
The Newsday time is 5:32, of course, not %:32. I can't seem to correct that right now, though.

Oh, and I couldn't finish Tyler's Onion puzzle. At 22-A I've got LE?O. At 24-D is ?I?IES and, at 36-A, MAUPI?. I've never heard of any of the proper names and titles mentioned in their clues and, so, have no idea of what those three answers could be.
